This is Ethiopian Harrar Coffee Beans and this coffee comes from a country with little machinery and technology which means all methods used to pick, process and pack are virtually all by hand. This results in the coffee retaining all the origins flavours. This is truly a very beautiful coffee and is a must to drink and experience a coffee in the purest form.

This is a Heavy-bodied, spicy and fragrant, Ethiopian Harrar is a wild and exotic dry processed Arabica coffee that is grown on small farms in the Oromia region (formerly Harrar) in southern Ethiopia at elevations between 4,500 and 6,300 feet. The province of Harrar, is east of Addis Ababa, the country’s capitol.
Dry Process Coffee
Dry processing is a type of coffee processing that involves drying the freshly-picked coffee cherry (fruit) in the sun on large patios for a period of time while repeatedly raking and turning the drying cherry until the coffee beans are generally free of any dried fruit and the moisture content is about 10.5%. Mechanical dryers may be used instead of sun-drying.
During the dry processing the coffee’s fruit are allowed to dry on to the coffee beans. Harrar’s fruity taste has been likened to dry, red wine, and some Harrars exhibit tones of very rich, dark chocolate.
This is a quite unique coffee, Ethiopian Harrar coffee can have a strong dry edge, winy to fruit like acidity, rich aroma, and a heavy body. In the best Harrar coffees, one can observe an intense aroma of blueberries or blackberries. Ethiopian Harrar coffee is often used in espresso blends to capture the fine aromatics in the crema.

All our coffee is roasted fresh and no stock is kept in our factory so depending what day you order your coffee you might have to wait an extra day or two for the next scheduled roasting day.
